Possibilities for internships

At the moment there are possibilities for four kinds of research projects / internships:

• Computational modelling. Help develop computational models of brain and behavior. Programming experience required (Matlab and/or Python particularly helpful).
• EEG. Measure the activity the brain generates while learning about regularities in the world, and while forming representations of novel pictures. Programming experience (again, Matlab and/or Python) a strong pro, willingness to learn these languages is also sufficient.
• Reading. Measure eye movements while adults read a text, or help develop tools to do the same in children. Programming experience (Java and/or Python) a strong pro, willingness to learn these languages is also sufficient.
• Web research: internet can be a great tool for research, but the experiment must be fun - otherwise participants will not come to the site. In one project  we will try to build a game in which people have to guess the next word in a text. Programming experience again required.
